The Working Group on Tropical Dinoflagellates was created during the AASP/GSA meeting held in Reno (Nevada, USA) on November 16, 2000.

Huibert van den Brink is Funding Committee Chair. Chris Denison is also on the funding committee, and will pursue funding possibilities from AASP.
